Kate Potter

Although a native Australian, Kate Potter will spend the majority of her 2009 and 2010 race seasons in the UK, Europe, and Canada, competing in the UK’s National Points Series, as well as racing the World Cup Series across Europe and Canada. A prospect for the 2012 Australian Olympic squad, Kate has steadily climbed the XC World Cup ranks over the last couple of years, and her 2009/2010 race campaign is designed to help her build momentum for an Olympic bid. In addition to her XC prowess, Kate is no stranger to endurance events, having raced successfully with husband Ian Potter at the Bontrager-sponsored Twentyfour12 24-hour race in Plymouth, England, as well as finishing second in her category in the 2006 TransAlp stage race.
