Part 2: Trading Two Wheels For...um...Two Wheels
After three concussions, two broken collar bones, two separated shoulders, and a broken back, Keith's attention shifts away from motorcycles and towards bicycles.
1979: Not happy with the run-of-the-mill options, and too cheap to buy an Italian-made frame, Keith designs and builds his first frame: a road bike built for himself.
1980: Intrigued by the local mountain bike scene, Keith improves on the rather primitive frame offerings by creating his second frame: his first mountain bike.
1980s: Keith's frames impress the cycling locals that he begins building custom road, track, tandem, and mountain bike frames, operating out of his in-law's garage.
